Gold Material in 3ds Max

3ds max is considered as appropriate software for animation, Modeling and Rendering.

Gold Material – Its graphics design and visual effect are preferred for any kind of architecture and 3d movies. This was an introduction of the 3ds max at larger scale. On the other hand, It has variety of function in it to create a new project such as creating material with the help of material editor in 3d max. For this purpose, the procedure is little bit different because we modify the object parameter first then select the object.

So we start the project from material editor. In material editor, as we see many empty slots. Select one from them and rename it.  Adjust its diffuse color. The diffuse color offer to choose color at three places. Adjust the entire color setting. Next to set the specular level and glossiness. Don’t forget to select the material shadier as metal. We can see map in the drop list of material editor. Select that slot as it has many options in it. We want to get Reflection. And the rest of the procedure will be same as in steel material.

Go to mix curve and drag the graph level to down from right hand side. Now our setting is completed. Select the object and then choose Assign material to selection. From rendering, render the project and we shall see the result same like that project.
