Character Setting is Controlled by Layer Manager

Principles of Animation in Max – This tutorial allows you to learn about such feature of animation in which the expression of the facial and other body parts are created. Suppose the character is looking around, then it should turn its face as well as eye expression to view.

The whole character setting is controlled by layer manager where you can find different feature of animation.

These features help you to create different impression in the character movement.

There are multiple buttons setting in the layer manager and you can add or remove the expressions by switching them on or off.

For example the nose is directly connected with head movement and when the head moves, the nose part also moves and bows down as you can see in the video tutorial.

In this way, you have to keep and manage your character setting from curve editor which deals with curves. It is great technique to control the scene with curve setting using curve editor. It is one of the artistically ways to create animation with curve editor.
