Principles of Animation in Max – Part 13

Particular Track

Principles of Animation in Max – In this lesson we shall show you how to adjust arc for correcting a path of action. When the character walks runs, it uses particular track. At that time, it is following two types of action.

Primary and secondary. The arc belongs to the path and walking action. It can be seen via curve editor when the rising steps make the arc type shape when the character walks.

principle_animation_13Go to curve editor and see whether the character is walking with arc setup. The character is moving back here in this video and we are required to hit the character with desired spot, so that it fell down.

It is an important part of continuous and complex animation. If we notice the foot step of the character carefully, there is lack of arcs. If you add arc setting in your character foot step, then the character will move around freely and properly.
