Particle Effects in 3ds Max Part 1

This tutorial will inform you about how to create particle effects in any scene when you are using 3Ds max.

You have seen many modeling and animation scene in any movies and games, these scenes are the result of many particle effects. The 3ds max has a big collection of effects to manage it with the required project. If you use these effects in right way you may definitely find some extraordinary result. Let’s do an experiment and open the 3Ds max. Go to create panel and from there choose any primitive. Using select and rotate tool, circulate it at 90 degree. Do some necessary modification according to your scene demand. We have created particle effect for our scene successfully. Now hit M from your key board and this will bring material editor. We want it because it is essential for assigning material to the selected object. Adjust its diffuse color and also put values for glossiness. Select the map from map browser and then render the image.

You can also do many changing by increasing or decreasing the values in their parameters. If its does not show the effect, then again modify the values for the display of particle effects in render image. Fix it where it shows in render image.
