Butterfly – Animating with Keyframes & Trajectories Part 3

Simple animation process for butterfly modeling

In this video tutorial of 3d s max, you will learn about simple animation process for butterfly modeling. This is third part of whole modeling process where we shall work for animation purpose.

You will learn here how to use rig to make an easy looped animation. There are some tips on copying key-frames and using trajectories to speed up the animation process. To start our project, we expand our viewport and apply zoom in command. Now select the object and just right click on it, here we are required to manage object properties. There will be appeared a new dialog box and uncheck the unfrozen box and change it with frozen mode.

Now select both wings and bone one by one and rotate tool option. It will rotate the wings for 70 degree. The butterfly wings fly with some thing different setting. The key frame is 0 when it is at initial stage and 15 at final stage. You can learn the process only if you watch this video because it is difficult for you to learn orally.
