Basic Secondary Animation in 3ds Max

The animation is the technique to play the 3d and 2d models in a sequence to create fantasy of motion between them. The animation is categorized into two part primary animation and secondary animation. The basic animation is known as primary animation whereas about secondary animation, we are going to discuss here in this tutorial.

Secondary Animation

The secondary animation is usually obtained from primary animation. The movement of any model is called animation. If you are going to generate your own video, you will definitely want to move them for giving a 3d look and animation. The modeling components like flesh and clothes of your model are also very important for best animation. If your skin and clothes applying procedure is not correct, then it will effect in the speed of animation and your animation will become rigid and unaffected. You can bring displacement in the pace of animation and time delay also can be applied to maintain the standard of your animation. Because of these effect setting, you animation will create bad impression and look weird instead of smoothness. It is generated by using key frames from time line in the bottom side of Maya or 3Ds max.

You can place value yourself according to the demand of your scene. First select the position where you want to apply animation then assign keys, in this way first select the region and then assign key frames. After completing this process, you may find the player button system at the end of time line. Click on play button and you will see that your animation is on its way. Play it again and again to find out any mistake in your animation. In this way you will be able to create wonderful animation.
