Basic Animation in 3ds Max Part 1

This is the first tutorial in the series of basic animation. In this tutorial you will learn how to animate the object when you model it. For animation, key frame and timeline are mostly in use. The key frames show every changing in the object through frame.

There is an option to set the key frames according to your project length. To learn about animation concept take a pre-made file and open it. Animation has many methods but here we teach you about key framing work because it is initial level.

Taught Animation

Here you are taught animation by time and space option. The view port is space and time is on the key frame. Now you are going to create a motion in a still scene through applying key frames. Take start from top view port, though it is far away so through staring tools select pan first and then click on zoom to bring the scene closer for the ease of your animation.

Select the first object and then assign key on key frames and then hit auto-key.bring the first object close to the other and then again click on auto key to remove it again. It is done because through auto key applying the other object do not disturb and animate. The screen border will change into red color when you apply auto key. Repeat the process by playing the animation again and again.
