Basic Animation In 3d Max

Different polygonal shapes and object

Today in this tutorial we are going to teach you about different polygonal shapes and object that how to animate them in sequence within specific key frames application.

This tutorial belongs to basic category and learners can learn this basic lesson of animation through this useful tutorial. When you launch 3d studio max, it opens in front of you with large user interface and multiple commands and tools. These tools and commands are very complex in use because they take the users to the depth of concept. Therefore be careful in using them and check the command function by keeping mouse on the icon. Let’s start our tutorial by take a box from basic primitives. We can change parameters of box on our desire. Now it is in this position that we can move, rotate and scale it any where we want. We can animate this box from here to there. There is timeline toward the bottom side of the grid. Here you assign key frames for animation and there is also radio button system in the alignment.

Adjust key frames at per changing in object position. The key frame that is assigned becomes dark red line which indicates that key frames has assigned. When you finished key frames application, then play the animation which resulted into object movement. You can animate the object by modifying its shape and then repeat the whole process again. Final animation is here in this video.
