3Ds Max Editing Edge

3Ds Max Editing Edge – In 3d Studio MAX primitive have primary significance in modeling and rendering. Among them there are edges also. Here we shall discuss different feature of the edges. First of all take some kind of object, say take a cylinder. There are many similarities in editing vertices and edges. We can delete the edge by selecting it and then press delete button but it remove the polygon also. To avoid from such problem use remove button. This will only remove the selected edges. When we remove the part, there will create big gap in it.

This remove option only deletes the deselected polygon and edges. Another option is to split the edge. We can open and break the seal of an object from out side. Extruding edges applies when edges are selected. We can extrude the edges in any direction toward X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis. When we extrude any selected edge, there will be open an Extruding mini box; there you can put the value to extruding ratio either inward or outwards. Edges can also be weld with one another using option weld. There we have an option of connect to use for connecting two different edges mutually.
