At first you select the object and for selection, simply “q” from keyboard and your object will be automatically selected. Similarly “w” is shortcut for select and move, “e” is for select and rotate and “r” is for select and scale. To undo your operation, just hit ctrl+Z from keyboard and your scene will come back into previous position. Besides these effects you can zoom in your scene in place of dolly. You can dolly the scene by moving middle mouse button. Orbit offers same technique as tumble in 3ds max and we can turn our viewport in circular motion. In short pan, orbit and zoom are similar function for camera manipulation as in 3ds max track, dolly and tumble. Hopefully you will learn the concept if not then watch this video concept.
