Darya e Jhelum
Description:
Poet sees the river and becomes sad. He thinks that this is the same river when it was passing through the hills and mountains it was so powerful and strong, noisy and sharp and still very beautiful. Poet uses some dreamy metaphors about the passage of river among hills and mountains by beginning the poem from lake Saiful Malook which is the source of this very river. While Travelling with the river he sees when river arrives near his city. it’s so silent and sleepy, no noise, no strength left, no power showing. poet asks why?
It’s a nice poem with bounded verse style lyrics.
