User Interface Customization Part 2

You are learning here about user interface and how to customize user interface for the demand of your scene. This is the second part of this subject, part one is already here on this site. The purpose to divide this concept into parts to provides you correct and easy to learn way. It will make you easy in your work if you are using user interface after customizing.

 

It gives the user such technique to create fabulous modeling with time saving advantage. There are properties and commands to customize them by changing their values at desired area.The user interface custom settings provide you opportunity to float the toolbar. Floating of toolbar are supported the re-size, replace and dock.

Horizontally and Vertically

In other words, when the toolbar is re-sized, replaced or docked, we say that floating of toolbar indirectly. Similarly we can do the same process with command panel. The command panel floating is done into two ways, horizontally and vertically. If you want to float the panel horizontally, click and hold the edges of panel from right and left sides and when it turns into double arrow. Drag the edges outward to increase the width of panel.

To float the command panel vertically, click the mouse on top edge and then drag it to make longer. The command panel can be hidden by choosing X control on the right corner. When you are required to display the hidden icons, and then press any panel tab and choose the panel name there which is hidden. Then displayed panels are indicated with checkbox.
