Principles of Animation in Max – Part 9

In this Tutorial of 3Ds max we Shall Take a look over Confusion of Secondary Action.

As you know we are teaching you about 12 principal of animation in 3Ds max, so here you will learn about every concept of animation separately. In this part we are going to teach you about removing the confusion of secondary action.

When the character is going to create motion, it is performing action. This action is of two types, Primary and secondary. Suppose your character is walking in the scene. So in this case the walking action is thought as secondary action while the way or path is the first and primary action.

principle_of_animation_09Both of them are necessary for each other and you can’t create illusion of animation in the absence of any action. There are many other examples of such cases in animation. The animation is just because of the combination of layer setting. The layer setting allows you to add layer in your scene to make it realistic.

When you open layer setting, it open up into small dialog box. Here you can add or remove the layers by switching “ON” or “OFF”. With layer setting we can add more expression in our scene. For more details about principle of animation stay on this site and search next parts.
