Particle System in 3ds Max

Today in this tutorial we shall know about particle systems in 3ds max.

Although we have already discuss this topic in our previous tutorials. But it is the advantage of this tutorial that it is presenting here in Urdu version. It is much helpful for the Asian learners because it is their national language and they can understand this language much easily.

Basically particle features are used in the creation of snow, dust, storm and water. It means that we have to create a set of environment for particle effect. Suppose we have to create water effect in our scene then we shall use relevant particle system effect in our scene. Particles are belonged to non-rendering segment and they didn’t appear at rendering time. We can find particle effect through create primitive>standard primitives>particle system. This shows us different particle effects to use them in our scene. For creating snowfall effect go to workspace and press G to hide the grid in every viewports.

Now draw a snowfall effect in top view and you can see the effect properly whereas if we create them in grid, they do not appear to us. We can move this effect anywhere by pressing W from keyboard. We can change color for our effect from color chooser. Take a test render of the image and you can see there we can not see any affect in our scene. Go to time slider and move it, the particle effect will be appeared in our scene. We can delete the effect also if it is creating confusion in our scene.
