New Physx Tools in 3ds Max 2012

This tutorial of 3ds max is here to show you about function of fresh Physx tools in 3ds max 2011. This tool is really most important tool and easy to use. In this video tutorial we shall bring them in work. This tool is becoming very complicated in upcoming edition of 3ds max.

There is already scene setting here, to view the display play the animation. There is ball moving towards a stand and hit it. But they do not affect each other, or you can say that there is not any changing. The cylinder is standing in the way of ball, now we shall add physx tools in our scene. The ball is though rigid body and it is using regular key framing to hit the cylinder. Go to physx tool bar and there you can see create rigid body button.

Rigid Body

This will create rigid body for the scene and similarly create static rigid body in case of hitting they do not drop themselves but due to first rigid body. Make duplicate special copy for creating more rigid body in order. Go to physx tool again and select simulation icon. Now play the animation again after physx affect and you will see that all the cylinder (rigid bodies) will drop down when ball hits them. In physx tool you can also assign basic material for the simulation. Play the animation again and view the simulation carefully.
