Power Drink Soda Can – 3Ds Modeling Text Tutorial

This 3d modeling text and image tutorial will show you how to make an extremely detailed Soda Can in 3dstudio Max 2011. The shape of the Can is like to those of power drinks.

The most used 3ds modeling tools will be Chamfer, Extrude, Bevel and Inset. Modifiers like Turbo smooth and Shell motivation also are used. So, let’s start this 3ds modeling tutorial.

Step 1: To create this 3ds modeling text image tutorial Open or Reset 3dstudio Max. From make, Geometry creates a Cylinder with the Height of 14cm and the Radius of 3cm. Right click on the Cylinder and select Convert to>Convert to Editable Poly.

Step 2: starting the Modify tab click on Polygon icon in collection rollout menu and select the bottom polygon. Click the small box next to Bevel; alter the Height amount to 0.2cm plus the Outline to -0.2cm. Click the check mark used for OK.

Step 3: Extrude the equal polygon by an amount of 0.2cm.

Step 4: Inset to facilitate polygon with an amount of 0.1cm.

Step 5: once more, extrude the polygon only this point modify the amount to -0.2cm.

Step 6: Bevel the selection with a Height of -0.2cm plus a sketch of -0.5cm.

Note: If you create more than one Bevel, instead of clicking the test mark for OK you canister click the plus sign to affect and create more bevels.

Step 7: Bevel once more, simply this time modify the Height to -0.1cm. Leave the Outline to -0.5cm.

Step 8: With the equal polygon selected, click the Inset button, modify the inset amount to 0.5cm, click 2 periods on the plus sign to affect the inset two times, after that click on the make sure mark for OK plus a third inset.

Step 9: To change the selection to Vertex hold down CTRL plus click on the Vertex icon.

Step 10: With the vertices resulted as of the conversion selected click on the Weld key and modify the amount to 0.25cm. You will now see everyone the vertices snap jointly as one.

Step 15: To carry on this 3ds modeling tutorial select the top polygon plus Bevel it, modify the Height to 0.2cm plus the Outline to -0.2cm.

Step 16: Extrude the equal polygon 2 times through an amount of 0.2cm.

Step 17: Inset the selection by way of an quantity of 0.1cm.
