Manage 2d Materials in 3d Model

This is detailed tutorial on 2d materials for the lip sync in 3ds max.

We shall discuss the technique that is used for lips and animation together. The 2d image is made in Adobe Photoshop and then merged it with animation for 3d model. So start the tutorial by importing it from the drive. Bring the material editor by pressing “M” from key board and choose material for the lip. Make the model unsmooth and press F1 to bring it in wire frame. Select the polygon around the mouth one by one. Move it little bit from side view port and clone option will be appeared. Write the name of the selected object with mouth. Go to the modifier list and choose UV unwrap. Here you have to work with mouth region using pixel.
