Basic Modeling – Main Toolbar in 3ds Max Part 1

This tutorial is about the introduction of the button and tab placing in 3ds max studio.

Basic modeling – There is option of redo and undo. The first one is to use to do the operation that you do not want to do so simply presses the button redo. This will bring the object in previous position.

On the other hand, you can use undo the button to do that thing that you do not want. They also offer to connect the two or more object, or you can say you want to move one object according to other; in this case first select the tab connect. Now click on the object you want to join when you will click, a line like thread type appear. That shows the relationship between the two objects.  Now apply move tool and then select one object and move it. You will see that both objects are moving along. These are using to join the two different kind of object in short cut. Only that thing will move which is connected not connecting thing.

For example, you have a ball and box to be connected. The box will move according to the ball whereas the ball will not move. It is because the box is connected to ball only not the ball to box. You can break the link between them by pressing unlink. So this was some basic button introduction and for detail we shall discuss them in our next tutorials.
