3ds Max Basic Concepts for Beginners

One thing that is necessary to remember that is object pivot point. Make sure that at transforming position, the pivot point is in the centre. Sometime the selection tools arrow are disappeared so bring them back by pressing short key “X”. If you have two objects in your scene then you can move them with respect to one another. Similarly when you have a lot of objects and you want to select them together then you can select them with region selection.

You can extrude the object for further changing by selecting the object faces and then drag it to outward position. The extrude option is really helpful in modeling instantly.
