Learning 3d Modeling and Character Setup in Maya 2011 Part 24

In this tutorial of human head modeling we have nearly created the model although it has rough look but still we are working on its mistakes. The model is being drawn with the still image and the model is first designed by creating line for the whole model shape. Then it is provided the polygon setting and extrude and bevel option using we are succeeded in formation of head model. We can drag forward or backward these vertices to give the actual shape. Now we shall adjust the setting for chin under the mouth area. Create edge loop where you think it is necessary and then adjust their vertices also. The transforming tools are usually used for the vertices setting.

human head modeling 24Once you have done it then bring it into smooth shape and view the effect. Bringing into smooth shape is like a renderer for the model because it also show you real image of the object. To give the right shape to your model compares it with still reference image. To make the chin real and actual in shape select its vertices drag them out and leave it where you think it perfect. The vertices and edge loop setting is like a net of complex wires and you may felt much difficulty in its setting. Go to prospective view again and view the setting from all side and angle because it setting changes when we set it from other angle. Further detail is given in this video for the learner to learn it with more accuracy.
