Modeling of Crazy Penguin

Modeling is wonderful technique for the polygon setting to create different design. Generally the modeling is started with one polygonal primitive then it is worked by the modeler with extrude and bevel command to give desired shape. The most command applications define the detail of the object.

component level of the object guides us about the detailed study of object. The primitives are origin of any model and it is of two types; polygonal primitives and NURBS primitives. Both of them are used for different purpose. The component level for both primitives defines about polygons and NURBS separately. In the following tutorial, you will learn about modeling of crazy penguin. Take a sphere for the body of penguin model and scale it there on the grid. Right click on the surface and convert into editable poly. Select the polygon and adjust its setting.

Scene Setting

The center of polygon is assumed as face, therefore select the face and apply extrude and bevel command according to the demand of scene setting. Then select its vertices and use move tool to adjust the vertices setting. It is called vertices manipulation which helps you to modify the shape of your model. The repetitions of same commands will bring your model to the final stage as you see in this video.
