Melting Teapot in 3ds Max

The following tutorial, we shall create the melting  teapot with the help of Fume FX. We use texture mapping for the Fume FX on the melting tea port. Although this tutorial is presenting here under 3d s max application so you can also learn it by launching your 3d studio max along with tutorial.

This will help you to learn the concept clearly. You can also learn it orally through this video tutorial. The melting teapot mean melting like a plastic and we demonstrate it with key frame. Assign key frame at different stage from start to end point. First of all select the modifier for the teapot as noise modifier. Then select the vertices of the tea port and they help it much in melting. Here we shall assign two materials to our object, one for stable position and other for melting position. When the animation plays, it travels from one material to another material assignation. View the render at first before starting project. Take an experiment again and take a plane and teapot again. Modify the parameter of the object, and assign material to the object.

Adjust the diffuse color and map to the object. Set the key frames from 1 to 100 or you can manage it at your own choice. Adjust the minimum value at middle key frame and at last key frame place the value like 0. We have assigned the key frame for our animation. The remaining procedure can be seen in this video.
