Material Editor Interface Overview

Here we shall take a quick review over the material editor interface in 3d studio max. First of all it is necessary to discuss about what is material editor and what is it used for. The material editor provides material for the best look of model, there are pre-made material in material-editor and you can choose them according to the demand of your material structure.

Here you can color, render as well as can provide shadier to the model. If you want to apply shadier for the model, then its vertex and pixel setting are much interfered in this act. Next step is to provide material overlay for your object. It is covered with general material for the geometry of objects.

Material Editor Interface

The material-editor allows you to use material editor interface having a lot of properties. There is value setting and you can modify the color and object setting by placing values for them. You can create realistic material for even any default object in real time. The basic material can be seen separately on right corner. On the bottom side, you can see material properties in details. It also works with replacing values and you can replace it for the benefit of your scene.

Sometime such modeling is created which do not support current material properties. Therefore there are some additional properties to meet the requirements of scene.
