Here we shall talk about 3Ds Max reactor tool and its uses in 3ds max.
This 3ds max reactor tool is used in 3ds max scene at larger scale for the explosion and destruction scene. You have seen different thrilling scene in movies with visual effects, these effects are created with reactor tools.
Suppose you have such situation in your scene, the car which is going to rolling through out the wall, then you will definitely need of this command. The reactor tool is located on top toolbar and if you haven’t it there then customize the toolbar and you will see that the check box for reactor command is hidden, unhidden the check box and it will appear on the toolbar. If we come to the video tutorial, you see that the scene is ready for animation and all is set now. In this video the car is collided with wall and break through with reactor commands.
First of all take a plane as a base of our scene and maximize it. Create a box to demonstrate a car model similarly create another box with specific parameters in front of car indicating bricks for wall. Select the car and then with shift selected plane and apply reactor command. Adjust key frames setting at different stages and then play the animation. You will see that the car collided with wall and drop it down badly. You can apply this command in different scene just for experience.
