Syed Fawad Bokhari – Your post reminded me of a poet of Mianwali, Hasnain Bokhari, who dedicated his first book (collection of Ghazals) “Woh Aik Lamha”, to the “Moment (Lamha)” when a man takes decision and that decision affects his life.
Aik waaqayaa yaad aa rahaa hai:
Before coming to Germany for higher studies, I had to go to the Notary public at Model-Town-Lahore-Kechehri for the attestation of my documents. I was sitting on the bench of a lawyer. You know in “Kachehri” there are many lawyers who have their few wooden benches chained to a tree, so I was actually sitting with him and were waiting for the documents. Meanwhile his colleague came. His shirt was all wet with the sweat. He came with a very small cigerate is his one hand and a very small cup of tea (the same tea cup in which one even cannot put a finger in the handle; this is common cup on the tea shops on the footpaths) in the other hand.
In his “Josh-e-Qalandri” he mentioned to the lawyer with whom I was sitting:
“Malik sb, Tuhaanoon eik gal dasaan? Kisee nay kayaah way kay insaan daa kirdaar hee odhaa muqadar hondaa jay, tusee mairee aey gal yaad rakhnaa”
And he then started to smoke and drank his tea.
And his words actually penetrated my heart and mind and I have never forgotten it. He was outstanding correct. And fully inline with the words of Idrees Azad sb’s, rather Idrees sb has kind of provided a one-liner that why “kirdaar” is “muqadar”.

And by the way, the study in engineering which kind of deals with this ( as mentioned in the words of Idrees sb) actually is CHAOS THEORY. That how small acts, decisions, lead to a very big event. This is also referred as Butterfly effect [1] in CHAOS theory.
“In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. ” A crude definition on Wikipedia and to my knowledge it is correct.

what a splendid literaray taste you have Syed Fawad Bokhari. this is a piece of modern short story indeed.
Idrees Azad and thanks for such kindness of yours. I am really onto it since many years. Now I simply need it to put pen to paper, the 100 pages maybe “The Red Apple”. It’s almost in touch with modern science and logic.
