Maya Modeling at Basic Level

Maya Modeling Tutorial
Here you are in Maya learning tutorial about modeling at basic level. Although we have introduced this concept separately in our previous tutorials but in this part we combined them together. We shall use general method for understanding you about modeling. Go to polygonal primitives and choose polygonal cube there. It will appear right in the middle of workspace. You can increase or decrease the size of polygonal objects with scale tools. The scale tools are placed on the left side of the grid. Select the object with scale tool and drag from middle point with mouse outward to scale it larger. You can make it smaller, Bigger and can adjust the model at your own choice. Go to channel box and see its parameter values can be changed there. When you scale the object larger or smaller, the changing can be seen in their values setting clearly. Below this setting, it has subdivision setting which allows you to add some detail to your object. You can hide the object for the cause of your scene setting using visibility as off. We can modify the object shape by moving the vertices setting of object. The face of the object helps us to apply bevel and extrude commands for reshaping your model. Go to video to see how we use different commands for the best modeling in Maya.
