Attaching Skin to The Joints in Maya 1 _ 2This tutorial will teach you about how to attach the model with joints. Here we shall read for modeling of human and its skinning material. In our project, we have already human character model and just going to attach joints for it. First of all select the joints and then with shift selected the body and apply smooth material to it. The character models are first generated with joints which is located in the subdivision in animation menu. The joints are created and attached with such skill so that it makes us easy while we are creating animation. The skeletal system is consisting upon different body language and there is no similarity in any object or human model. So don’t worry about skeleton as it doesn’t matter in joints formation. The joints system is generated similar as in real body and it is therefore that you can perform any kind of task from your model by moving it around in animation. The elbow and knees joints are generated with carefully because it uses in walking and running of character. The object manipulation tools are used to fix the position of any part at animation stage. Even you can check the position of the body by using these objects manipulation tools. The proper process of joints attaching is shown in the video which enables you to use this technique either any other modeling scene also easily.
