Aid or Trade (Englihs Speech)

Speech English, section high, district level

Nations live on food of trust
Trust on government, gives them just
If king begs then nation begs
Kings does what with broken legs
Aids and abet for aids from pigs
Those dead hills, pull them with rigs
Look upon those who breathe like rose
Who make trades, who take no doze
Aid’s like opium for a nation of grace
Aid’s like poison for population of a race

Praiseworthy Mr. President and respected audience!

We are Muslims. We should look upon the life of Muhammad the holly prophet peace be upon him. He was a successful tradesman of his time.  He traveled many times from Makkah to Syria as an honest monger of Arabia, so why someone would like to favor the aid instead of the trade?

Trade gives confidence to every human either he is an individual or nation. Trade upgrades the national dignity of people. Why someone will stretch his palm for a penny like hobos, like beggars, like vagabonds, like tramps?

No! No! No one likes this.

Trades are always pride of a nation; trades are always rides of a nation. Trades are almost basic buildings blocks of state, trades are at least national strength of a state, trades are maximum ratio of the graph of development, and trades are minimum climax of satisfaction.

On the other hand aid is suffering from shame and disgrace, aid is surely ignominy of person and state at a time. Aids never end up. Aids never bend up. Aids never work, never work, never work, An Urdu poet says,

Wait!

Dear Mr. President!

I will translate the verse of URDU poet for you, please listen to it carefully. It’s giving a great message to the listeners of this topic,

So listen to it,

Crutches will make you more dependent on others

Because supports rob the evenness from a man

Dear Mr. President!

A crutched person is helpless without crutches but we Pakistanis are a great nation. We shouldn’t be dependent on others. We should get rid of all those loans and aids that we beg every year from those who don’t actually want to see us independent at all.

Mr. President!

Please believe me!

By God, believe me!

I swear to God that our aiders don’t love us indeed. They want to make us a crutched nation. They want to watch us crippling on the floor in front of them like greedy dogs and waving our tails against them as tame puppy of their bedrooms.

Dear Mr. President and respected audience!

I cannot forget the bitterest abuse of my life which I ever heard. Yes Mr. President I cannot forget that. Maybe some of you as well remember that fool language of an American senator who interviewed to a TV show and called Pakistanis the greediest nation of the world. He called us names and said,

“Pakistanis are those, who sell their mothers against five dollar’s note”

This was the most shameful day of my life.

O my God, bless my soul!

Oh my God bless my Pakistan!

O my God bless my people!

O my God give us a little ego

Urge us to excel

Give us spirit

We are like sand and dead

We are still laying in our bed

Dear Mr. President!

I am sure that trade is better than aid, not only better but the best indeed.

And if we entitled to choose one of them I mean aid or trade, then we should definitely choose the trade and we shouldn’t even look upon the aid.

What’s in nature which we don’t have yet? What’s inferiority which we always feel against western countries? What’s the matter there? What’s the problem there?

I cannot understand this very simple issue of my Pakistan because we have each and every recourse of nature which could be the gift of God for us but we didn’t do so. The oil, the gas, the agriculture, the wealth of minerals, the peaks, the seas, the mountains, the rivers, the water, the air, the sun, the weathers, the youth, the intellect, the manpower, the raw material.

Uff !!

My God!

We almost have the entire planet in one place but still we don’t throw the bowl of beggar, I mean the Kashkol.

My dear fellows,

We should not be afraid of tomorrow unless we can do a good job for our today. If we try to earn for a day and spend in a day we’ll have no need to collect and stock money and make our federation poorer and poorer. The only way to a stable Pakistan is that we shall have to get rid of aids at all.
