Video – NURBS Modeling-Car Seems

This makes you 3d modeling work more realistic and sensible and improves you 3d modeling quality. In this lesson you will learn new technique of NURBS 3d modeling how you can model NURBS 3d model of curved pipe with the help of circle and an isopalm of the curve of the car surfaces, this is very important part of character setup in NURBS 3d modeling as use of Extrude in NURBS 3d modeling is different than that in Polygonal 3d modeling or Subdivision 3d modeling in 3d software Maya.     Steps:

  1. This is a simple technique go to create menu select Circle from NURBS primitives and then scale it to proper size.
  2. Create a curve or select any one isopalm of the edge where you want to create the bulging curved railing, go to extrude option box mark the tube, at path, component and normal and then hit on extrude option.
  3. This will create the railing on you edges for very beautiful realistic effects.
  4. Applying texture to this railing is also an important step just right click on object go to assign new material for new texture and material or assign existing material for previously used texture. Press ‘6’ to see your object in texture mode.
