Video-3d Rocket Painting Part 3

This is third part of the 3d modeling class in this 3d modeling video tutorial you will learn about character rigging in 3d modeling and animation software application Autodesk Maya. 3d modeling has two steps one is 3d character setup which is actually 3d character making and other is 3d character rigging meaning how to assign material and texture 3d character in 3d. For the last three tutorial videos you learned how to setup the 3d character of rocket model and now you will learn how to assign texture to the 3d model of the cartoon rocket in 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya. there are many techniques of texturing 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya, e.g. texturing 3d modeling with assign material node in Hypershade, Assigning new material, using Paint tool option etc. here in this 3d modeling lesson you will learn how to texture our 3d modeling with painting 3d model with paint tool options of the 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya.

    Steps:

  1. Select the main body of the 3d rocket and then change the menus set to Rendering, go to Paint effects and click on the option Make Paintable.
  2. Now you open paint options box by clicking middle set of the line in the extreme right of the status line, select the paint tool and you get options for the paint tool, now select the option Assign object to the paint tool, then click on the assign object to the paint tool option, now you can paint your object with paint tool.
  3. There are many types of the paint brushes and painting texture assigned with brushes created by the Experts of Maya, for example, click on double brush icon and then select any of the texturing of the paint you like here we choose lightening and then select lightening effect of the texture.
  4. Now using the paint tool you paint your 3d model in 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya.
