This model is a flower prepared by polygons. 3d flowers in maya are easy because if you don not make a specific flower model you may use the mel brushes from visor. there are many readymade flowers in Maya visor. But this one is not a mel brush but also this model has been prepared with tools, using poly modeling feature.
