house 1From this tutorial, we are going to start for modeling of house in Maya modeling. The house modeling is very complex modeling overall therefore this modeling process is split into several parts. This is very first part of house modeling, where we shall read about some basic concept of house modeling. There is complete series of house modeling therefore you will have to following and search for each part for complete learning about house modeling. Now start our tutorial by selecting plane from basic primitives and we shall use it for assigning of our reference image material. Take another plane and place it in horizontal position. We shall do so because in this way we can view and work for all four side of the house easily. Unhide the grid and go to polygonal primitives and choose polygonal cube. Now scale it with respect to setting of your house modeling scene. This polygonal cube will be used as base of our house. Now hold it from edges and scale it up for the boundary wall of our house modeling. Hit 4 to view its wireframe mode, and see whether it is quite covering the reference image.
