Maya 2011 Dynamics

Welcome to Maya 2011 dynamics Urdu/Hindi video lessons of 3d Computer graphics, in this 3d modeling and animation tutorial lesson you will learn about basic and active rigid 3d character in 3d modeling animation software Autodesk Maya 2011. Autodesk Maya dynamics is basically related term of 3d animation but due to certain specification of the motion, like fluid motion, rigidity of the moving body etc. this branch of 3d animation has been placed in a separate menu set in 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya 2011 and has its specific 3d animation tools and commands like Patches, Fluid Effects, Fluid n-Cache, Fields, Soft/Rigid Bodies, Effects, Solver, Hair and Muscles and you can refer this type 3d animation as the 3d animation governed by proper rules like physic etc. or ready made animation fore example for hair and fluid motion you do not need to give animation commands yourself 3d modeling and animation software Maya decides itself.

maya_2011_dynamicsHere you will learn about Basic and Active Rigid bodies; a Basic Rigid body it like Earth, plane, head, glass or table and an Active rigid body is that body which is rigid but is active and moving like ball hitting on ground, hairs on head, paper on table, liquid in glass etc. you can understand it as:
3d modeling and Dynamic effect creation:
Create a polygon plane and scale to cover the grid area then create a polygon cylinder, scale to suitable size and then move it at a certain height on the plane.
Set the menu set to ‘Dynamics.’ Select the plane, go to Soft/Rigid bodies and click on Basic rigid body, then select the 3d cylinder and go to the previous menu and click on Active rigid body. This will make you plane like earth and cylinder like ball otherwise when you will throw the cylinder on the plane it will pass through.
Increase the number of frames from the range slider.
Go to the Field menu selecting the cylinder and click on the Gravity. Now play you animation from frame 1. You will see the 3d dynamic effect of Gravity field on you cylinder and plane acting as earth and rigid surface.
One more thing now to tell you is that when you will select this cylinder and open the Channel box you will see the many attributes related to the this dynamic effect, like velocity of the active rigid body, friction, motion along certain axis, spinning like ball during it falling, mass of the selected body and impulse which actually motion due to gravity along any axis etc. You can edit and modify these attributes for better results or as you want.
