How To Model Pool And Pillars Using Extrude Tool in Maya 2011:
In this free tutorial video 3d modeling lesson in Urdu/Hindi you will learn how to model pool and pillars of house 3d model in 3D animation and modeling software Maya 2011. This 3d modeling class is about use of extrude tool in Maya 2011. You can do magical 3d graphics modeling with extrude tool in Maya 2011. Here in this 3d modeling class lesson a pool in the court-yard is created with the extrude tool and pillars are made.
Steps:
First of all make edge loop for dividing the geometry of the court-yard in required pool shape. The select the face where you want to create the pool.
First of all extrude the edges of the face from the axis other than the depth and height related axis.
Then for using again the extrude tool press ‘G’ and extrude the face you have selected already from the depth concerning axis. The pool is ready.
Now open new scene create a polygon cube, selecting all faces extrude cube with keeping all faces together.
Then deselect the ‘keep faces together’ from the ‘edit mesh’ menu and press ‘G’ and again extrude the selected faces. You can design base and top of the pillar in this way.
Create a polygon cylinder and you can change its faces as much you like to have it from the channel box.
Using extrude tool you can enlarge the cylindrical pillar up to sufficient height the duplicate the base you have created for the top by pressing ‘Ctrl’ Key and hitting ‘D’ key from key board.
Open the previous scene in this scene without saving, combine both scene from the mesh menu and then in the ‘modify’ menu select the ‘centre pivot’ option and then with move tool select and move the pillar at right place.
After wards duplicate it to form another pillar with ‘ctrl + D’ move the other pillar with move tool at the right place.
