Thought Experiment

I have scientific thought experiment I want to propose. It’s in the form of a hypothesis. I’d really appreciate all the criticism, thoughts and corrections on this thought experiment. I have no background in physics whatsoever, I am not a scientist nor have any formal education in physics besides elementary school. I just have an interest in how nature works (more like a hobby) and this thought experiment just kinda came to me the other night.

The experiment aims to explain a lot of quantum phenomena that we can’t seem to grasp with our worldview.

Let’s define a few things first .

Event (E) : The emergent observable phenomenon across the universe. Think of one event as a single line that contains everything observable in a single space time. Every single particle can be represented by a function of space, time and event. In fact, for a particle to exist in space, it must be part of an Event. In my hypothesis, every single event is a discreet line (not necessarily straight) on which everything observable about the universe lies. In fact a particle can be shown to exist if and only if it has coordinates (x,y,z, t, E) where every variable acquires a non-imaginary value. This means for something to exist in the universe it must be having a non-imaginary value of x,y,z, t and E.

Time (t) : In my hypothesis, time is an independent variable that moves continuously at fixed rate. Unlike Einstein who showed time slows down when a particle is in motion, in my hypothesis it is not really time but only number of events that happens during a particular period of time reduces leading to perception of slowing down of time. Time is same for all observer regardless of their motion.

State of non-existence/State of no-event (N) : Events are discreet lines on which everything observable about the universe lies. Between two events lies a state of non-existence. It means one particle can only go from one event to other after ceasing to exist for sometime. But in the general observation it happens so fast that we really do not observe any difference. During nonexistence the particle becomes a wave and then when it becomes existent again it becomes a particle again.

Speed of event : Speed of event is simply the rate at which events unfold in a particular reference frame. Speed of unfolding of the event holds the numerical value of speed of light in the frame. Therefore, it is theoretically possible to travel between two events (or in the state of non-existence) if the frame moves at the speed of light. If the frame moves at speed of light then the speed of light in the frame would be zero, therefore the rate at which event will unfold in that frame would be zero too, meaning no event will happen–>clock simply won’t tick or time will appear to have stopped.
This explains why photons travel as wave (because they are in state of no event ) and the moment they are stopped, they behave like particle.

This hypothesis can also explain a lot of things of which we don’t know why. Like double-slit experiment, entanglement or why a particle can only exist in discreet orbits. For double slit experiment the electron simply moves from one event to the state of non-existence where it travels like a wave to particle again when it is stopped. It also explains why photon travels as a wave and not particle until it is stopped by something. It explains why particle such as electron exist only in discreet orbits because they go into a state of non-existence during the moment they are traversing through one orbit to other.
