Bathroom Interior Design Using 3ds Max Part 39

Whole modeling geometry

Here you are learning about interior design of bathroom. We are creating modeling of bathroom in 3d studio max 2010. This is second last tutorial of bathroom modeling series where we are giving final touch to the commode modeling. Then it will be adjusted in bathroom modeling and grouped it with whole modeling geometry.

This is the overview of this tutorial where we have commode model in our scene. The lid of commode is being attached with screw and joints of plastic material. We are creating those materials in 3d studio max.

  1. Select the screw joints and chamfer it to make it realistic like a actual scene.
  2. Once you adjusted the setting of one joint then make duplicate copy of this for other joint.
  3. Take a quick view of commode modeling and see whether anything else for setting.
  4. Compare this model with actual reference image so that you can decide the quality and standard of your modeling.
  5. You see that handle in commode for flow of water is left.
  6. So import it from reference image folder and design it for your scene.
  7. Take cube and move it with commode, connect edges and extrude polygon to give desired shape.
  8. Apply chamfer command and choose modifier for this mini model as mesh smooth.
  9. Rename the new model and group it also with bathroom modeling.
  10. Use move tool to bring it in bathroom and fix it required area.

The full and final modeling will be seen in next last tutorial of interior architectural modeling of bathroom.
