We can divide the digit 1 into infinite number of pieces.
Each one stands as single 1 and again will be able to be divided more. This division of single number into many pieces called fractional numbers. for example,
1 can be divided into two pieces 0.5 + 0.5 either ½ + ½ , now each piece is again a single number. Both pieces are two, but if we cut one of them it’ll be like one and will be cut again into two more pieces, see the image below,
